中國醫藥大學醫學院生物醫學研究所專案教授、中央研究院院士洪明奇（Mien-Chie Hung）長期投入癌症分子生物學研究，從HER2致癌機制到PD-L1免疫調控，探索癌細胞生長與免疫逃脫的關鍵機制。其團隊於《Nature Communications》發表多項研究，揭示PD-L1蛋白修飾與腫瘤免疫逃脫的關聯。2025年更於《Cancer Letters》發表三陰性乳癌研究，探索改善PD-L1檢測及預測免疫治療反應的可能性。洪明奇院士曾任中國醫藥大學校長，並入選Stanford／Elsevier全球前2%頂尖科學家年度及終身科學影響力名單，展現其在癌症研究領域的國際學術影響力。

Professor Mien-Chie Hung, a Project Professor at the Graduate Institute of Biomedical Sciences, China Medical University, Taiwan, and an Academician of Academia Sinica, has dedicated his career to cancer molecular biology. His research spans HER2-driven oncogenic mechanisms and PD-L1-mediated immune regulation, focusing on how cancer cells grow and evade immune surveillance. His team's studies published in Nature Communications have revealed the roles of PD-L1 protein modifications in tumor immune evasion. In 2025, a study published in Cancer Letters further explored the potential of improved PD-L1 detection to help predict responses to cancer immunotherapy. A former President of China Medical University, Professor Hung has been recognized in both the career-long and single-year scientific impact lists of the Stanford/Elsevier World's Top 2% Scientists, reflecting his international scholarly influence in cancer research.
