中國醫藥大學副校長、醫學院院長薛博仁教授，長期投入感染症、臨床微生物學及抗微生物藥物抗藥性研究，致力於改善感染診斷與治療。其研究涵蓋細菌抗藥性監測、新型抗菌藥物及分子診斷，近年更結合人工智慧與拉曼光譜技術，探索快速辨識致病菌及預測抗藥性的新方法，推動智慧感染診斷與精準醫療發展。薛教授曾於2021至2023年入選Clarivate全球高被引學者，並名列2025年度Stanford／Elsevier全球前2%頂尖科學家，展現其在感染醫學與智慧醫療領域的國際學術影響力。

Professor Po-Ren Hsueh, Vice President and Dean of the College of Medicine at China Medical University (CMU), Taiwan, specializes in infectious diseases, clinical microbiology, and antimicrobial resistance. His research focuses on bacterial resistance surveillance, novel antimicrobial agents, and molecular diagnostics to improve the diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases. In recent years, he has integrated artificial intelligence with Raman spectroscopy to explore innovative methods for rapid pathogen identification and antimicrobial resistance prediction, advancing intelligent diagnostics and precision medicine. Professor Hsueh was recognized as a Clarivate Highly Cited Researcher from 2021 to 2023 and was named among the Stanford/Elsevier World's Top 2% Scientists in 2025, highlighting his international academic influence in infectious diseases and AI-driven medical diagnostics.
